Chesapeake Wills & Trusts

Probate is the court's process for winding up your financial affairs after death and distributing your remaining assets to your heirs. The court will need to appoint a person, known as the personal representative, to be in control of your estate following your death. Until a personal representative is appointed, your probate assets will remain in limbo. Your personal representative will need to abide by the court's rules and submit timely accounts and inventories. Finally, everything filed with the court during probate, including your will and list of assets and debts, will be a matter of public records and such personal information could be obtained by anyone. One way to avoid probate is to create a living trust.

Sentiment Analysis
Have yet to experience it, but the follow up services will likely be at the same caliber of service.
The lawyer Jessica gave me a detailed explanation of the documents and the process is excellent.
Professional, courteous and on time.
Symmes was so boring that even if she had any valuable information, it was lost in the fog.
Very accommodating going above and beyond.
I was very pleased with all the staff at Chesapeake Wills & Trust (Jimeno & Gray) and for their professionalism, teamwork, understanding for my concerns, and thorough and expedient assessment for my estate planning.
The step by step process and the legal information and advice helped me to form an estate plan I was comfortable with.
Very pleased with the 2 ladies who helped me with making my will.
Having a will and/or trust is an important part of planning for the future and this team did a great job helping us by explaining, but not hard-selling, the different ways in which they can help, and then once we decided they executed the documents to perfection.
It is a complex undertaking, so we conducted an exhaustive search for a local and experienced law firm that would have a welcoming attitude, integrity, inclusivity, commitment to excellence, focus on our family needs, and offer appropriate solutions based on our current estate.
