
Carol earned her law degree from the University of North Dakota School of law in 1997, where she graduated in the top ten of her class, earned scholarships for her academic achievements and participated as an associate editor of the Law Review. After graduation Carol developed her legal skills while working as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert E. McCaulay in Carlton County, as a managing attorney for Legal Aid in Pine City, as an Assistant County Attorney in both Carver and Anoka Counties, and as a private attorney at the Eller Law Office in St. Cloud. During these years Carol worked on a wide variety of legal issues including family law, criminal law, landlord tenant problems, boundary line disputes, contracts, consumer fraud, real property purchases, wills and guardianships.
