Ten years ago, we went to see Tony Walker Financial just to get an idea of where we were and what we needed to do in order to SOMEDAY be able to retire. Actually, we had no realistic hope that we would ever be able to fully retire. They showed us how it was possible for us to achieve our retirement goals right then! While we were processing that information and working toward making some decisions, the next week my employer announced significant changes to our company health and retirement plans. If you wanted to remain under the existing plans - much better plans than the new offering - then you had to retire within the next 90 days. Had we not already consulted with Tony Walker Financial, we would have been panic stricken! But equipped with the knowledge and options we had received...
