A file nobody reconciled for years is a project with a discovery phase. Ask for a paid diagnostic before anyone quotes the whole job.
Can a consultant migrate us from another package?
Yes, and the sensible question is what comes across. Balances and lists usually migrate cleanly. Full transaction history often does not, and forcing it is where migrations break. Many consultants bring over balances at a clean cut-off date and keep the old system available as an archive. Agree the cut-off before work starts.
