Erica's career began at the Northern California Innocence Project, where she assessed claims of actual innocence by convicted felons while at Santa Clara University School of Law. Following law school, Erica gained valuable trial experience as a Newton County Public Defender. Next, she followed her true passion and narrowed her focus to family law matters. As a family law attorney, Erica has handled a wide variety of hearings and trials regarding divorce, custody and child support. During her time as a family law attorney Erica also worked at Gwinnett Sexual Assault and Children's Advocacy Center (GSAC-CAC) as a Staff Attorney where she led the Temporary Protective Order Clinic.
