At Oklahoma City University School of Law, she taught legal research and writing, contract drafting, forensic evidence, and evidence in practice courses. She started the law school's Street Law program and developed the Pro Se Waiver Divorce Docket Project with several other lawyers. She coached the Frederick Douglass and Constance Baker Motley Moot Court and Mock Trial Teams and authored the third edition of Oklahoma Trial Practice with two colleagues from the law school. She has received awards for pro bono service from the Oklahoma County and Oklahoma State Bar Associations, served on the Oklahoma Bar Association's Access to Justice Committee, and volunteered with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma for domestic violence victims.
