After a friend died, I was handed her "hand written" will. Unfamiliar with estates or legal matter of such, I turned to a family attorney and colleague of my deceased father-in-law who had also been an attorney. After reading the will, I was told to "drop it like a hot potato and run". My friend had no heirs, no family to turn to and had saved all her life with hopes to be memorialized by posthumous philanthropic deeds. So I couldn't let her down. H.
