Immigrants who come to these shores are entitled to respect and admiration for all they contribute to our society. My family were refugees in Europe following the Second World War and I take each and every case to heart and do whatever I can to defend those whose lives are at stake, those who fear returning to their homeland, and those who wish to remain in this country of freedom. I consider myself honored to have immigrants as my clients. I admire their work ethic, their sense of family, their sense of duty and responsibility. I admire their religious faith and above all, their faith in the future. My faith in God and in humanity are always strengthened in my interactions with new immigrants.
