I began my career working on-site doing bookkeeping work for a commercial construction company. I discovered that I love working with numbers and with people, so I changed my major from Journalism to Accounting. I completed my bachelor's degree at Walsh College in Troy, Michigan. I continued my education with Master's level classes in both Accounting and Secondary Education at the University of Phoenix while working full timeand marathon training.
