I am now, however, because Kim Alley of Perkins & Antcil did an outstanding job in advising me on how to deal with unreasonable restrictions in a severance agreement.
Prior to purchasing the property, we had received written approval to use the building as a warehouse from the Town Offices, but within months of the purchase we received a cease and desist letter from the zoning enforcement officer stating (our use of the property was not an allowed use).
