We would like to officially welcome Attorney Katrina Otto to Bliss Law Group! 😊 As a child of divorced parents, Katrina considers herself to have started her career in family law as a young teen and has used her personal experiences to sharpen her legal skills. Family law has been, and continues to be, the sole focus of her practice. Katrina officially began exploring her passion while attending Seattle University School of Law, by volunteering with the King County Bar Association Pro Bono services. There she supported unrepresented litigants by walking them through their sensitive divorce and custody procedures, as well as those striving for third-party custody of loved ones. As if that did not fill her cup enough, Katrina was then fortunate to work alongside her first mentor, solo family law practitioner Helene Ellenbogen, which exposed her to complex financial litigation and high conflict parenting plan issues. Through her experiences, Katrina learned how overwhelming even the most “simple” process could look to families and has taken this outlook with her while engaging with her current clients. She is especially cognizant of the fact that litigation does not occur in a vacuum; its effects reverberate through every aspect of a client’s life and into their future.
