Corporate business owners know that it’s generally better to take money out of a C corporation as compensation rather than as dividends. That’s because a corporation can deduct the salaries and bonuses that it pays, but not dividends. Thus, if funds are paid as dividends, they’re taxed twice, once to the corporation and once to the recipient. Money paid out as compensation is only taxed once to the employee receiving it. But there are limits to how much money you can take out this way. Compensation can be deducted only to the extent that it’s reasonable. By far the best method for getting documents to and from us is through online transmission. At the same time, we understand the need for hard copies and are happy to arrange courier or other forms of transport to get your accounting documents where they need to be.

Do you use QuickBooks?

We are competent with QuickBooks as well as other financial accounting software. In short, we're accounting professionals and are able to adapt our workflow to meet your company's existing accounting structure, including different programs and document formats.

Can you setup payroll direct deposits?

They may sound complex, but creating a direct deposit system for employee payroll is actually quite easy and we're happy to assist. Direct deposits make payment easy, automatic, and creates a trail for tracking should a payment not arrive.
