Yesterday was 2 years since I left my easy security and started the journey of building my “Billion Dollar Idea.” nFor those of you that have worried about me thanks for your concerns, but I am good. If you haven’t heard from me this will tell you what I have been up to so Reach Out and Let’s Catch Up…n Some things I have learned over the last 2 Yearsn• To begin with I want to say “Thank You” to my Loyal Hard-Working Team for taking the “Jump” with me.n• If you’re highly paid by “Corporate America” you are worth 10-100 times more if you take it on the road and own our own business. n• Value your skill set because you worked hard to get it.n• Long term your relationship capital is your biggest asset so treat people right. n• Playing it safe will always create regrets nThe takers of the world use lawyers so don’t be afraid to stand up. They only target the weak and when they find out your strong, they go after other weaker prey. So don’t be afraid.n• The opportunity you provide your team should be your retention tool not lawyers and intimidation. n• Most friends are fair weather so pay close attention to your inner circle and thanks to those who have been loyal and true friends and thanks to those enemies that gave me extra motivation. n• It is also OK if you leave some people behind and actually you need to leave some people behind.n• Every business I have started and was committed to has been successful so will this one. n• When you’re under attack remember it might just be that your right and the masses might just be wrong.n• Save your loose change and make it grown• Hard work and focus over an extended time period wins. n• Wake up every day smarter than the day before and apply your new knowledge.n• Always optimize. My dad said find a better wayn• Save your money because staying power is the key to winningn• Everybody knows right and wrong but many times they look the other way if it affects them personally or financially.n• You are much stronger than you think so test out your resilience. You will be much happier in the wild. n• If you know how to create revenue from under a Rock, you are way more valuable than you can imagine. Make the change, take the risk, and monetize your skillset!n• Surround yourself with loyal, positive,competent people. n• Self-improvement does work but it takes time so get better every day and one day you will get highly compensated for all that work you put in to get better.n• Winning is fun and taking a calculated risk is smart and remember sometimes not taking a risk can be riskier than taking a risk.n• Wake up every day positive, thankful, and creative. You are above ground if you’re reading this so it could be worse.n• When you surrounded by open cans of worms close one at a time and then say next. n• Pick your battles but stand your ground. n• Remember God and Family is important.n• Do the right thing and stand for the right principles and it will all work out.n• When you’re at the top of the flagpole you have a target on your ass.
