Do you offer tax planning services?

Yes, we use software that uploads your Form 1040 tax return and provides an in-depth analysis of the return and future projections of income taxes. Note: we do not file taxes with the IRS. The report is primarily informational. For tax advice, you should speak to a CPA.

How are you different from other fee-only financial planners?

There are several key differences. First and foremost at CRFP, we believe in transparent pricing, what you see on the website is what you pay. We offer flat fees for financial planning and investment planning. This is rare in the industry. Second, we believe in goals-based financial planning. After each meeting, we establish goals that should be accomplished before our next meeting. We track goals to enable us to work on meaningful change together. Finally, we are comprehensive financial planners, where we work together in all areas of financial planning.

What is the ultimate goal of the way you do financial planning?

We move clients from feeling restricted and overwhelmed to feeling focused and empowered about their personal financial situation. Ultimately, we want to graduate clients, by making them so good at managing their personal finances they can do it on their own.

Who do you work with?

We partner with professionals and their families in corporate, education, and public service careers in the greater San Antonio area to help them create a comprehensive financial plan and investment management strategy. We also work virtually with clients nationwide. Ideal clients believe in the importance of educating themselves about their finances.
