It is holiday time for 2023! As we move closer to the end of the year, we are doing divorce mediations by Zoom or in the office. We mediate, negotiate, and litigate matrimonial and family law cases when required. Virtual Divorce Mediation by Zoom has really taken off in addition to our in office mediations. We can mediate for people located all around New York State and can submit uncontested divorces afterwards by e-filing throughout the state. The New York courts are beginning to add more in person appearances but virtual court appearances are still going on. In person trials are moving forward more and more. Virtual bench (non jury) trials started during the pandemic, and we have done a few, throughout the pandemic and are continuing. Virtual conferences and e-filing of papers will still continue, though, some courts are requiring in person appearances again for conferences or trials. We are still doing in office - phone - or Zoom consultations, divorce mediations, and meetings with clients and potential clients.
