Coastal Payroll does a great job at managing our payroll and their ERC department did such a great and efficient job at filing our claims for the Employee Retention Credit and got us back the payroll tax credits from the federal government in COVID-19 assistance!
Some people are great, its not always the easiest to get help though, and help is not always available when you need it.
I asked about the journal entries I needed to make to record the payroll transactions, and this is copied and pasted from their "GL Expert" as the answer: "You will need to reach out to your accountant for the correct account but this would be entered as a credit in the journal entry.
Really helpful during Covid Loans, forgiveness and tax credits.
The staff knowledge, customer service, prompt response and patience with me to new issues that come up from new regulations/laws in our state has made my work much easier to process.
