Being an immigrant himself, he has first-hand experience in navigating the complex and daunting American immigration system. Having no immigration status after graduating law school, he managed to obtain a temporary status. This achievement allowed him to stay in the US for six years until he received his green card in 2012. After residing in the US for more than 13 years, Amir was naturalized as a U.S. Citizen. He is extremely proud to be a dual citizen of, what he believes are, “The two best countries in the world – Canada and the United States. ”
