Seeking a legal assistant with prior immigration law office experience, but willing to train the right candidate. Must:nn• Be bilingual in both written and spoken Spanish. n• Possess strong attention to detail;n• Initiative;n• Problem-solving skills;n• Ability to work efficiently and independently; and n• Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability n to meet deadlines. n nAdministrative duties include but not limited to: nn• Answering phones;n• Setting appointments;n• Greeting clients; and conducting intakes;n• Photocopying, organizing documents, and filing.nnLegal duties include but not limited to: nn• Research;n• Translating documents from Spanish to English and vice n versa; and n• Preparing legal documents and filings under attorney n direction.nnThe position is part-time (25-35 hours per week) with the potential for full-time employment as the firm continues to grow.
