What does the Flat Fee cover?

Our flat fee covers the initial consultation with the client to identify the documents the client will need to address the situation that they describe to FFF. This fee is a one-time payment for a one-time service. If the client decides to use FFF for future proceedings, then a new payment and agreement will need to be exchanged between client and attorney. We will prepare all necessary documents for the client, and then we will schedule a review session. The client will be able to ask the attorney any additional questions about these documents. Additionally, the attorney will review the procedure of using these documents and advise the FFF client regarding their proceedings. Upon the completion of these documents and acceptance of the documents by the client, the services of FFF will be deemed complete.

Is the FFF attorney I work with going to represent me in court?

No. You are representing yourself. The FFF attorney does not file a notice of appearance to represent you. We will not speak on your behalf to another attorney, the court, or the opposing party. FFF will only speak to another individual, like a relative or friend that is there for support or has specific factual information that is needed to help prepare your documents with your permission and you sign a release to include this person in discussions.

Will FFF pay my court filing fee?

No. Flat Fee Forms only prepares the documents that you need for your current family law matter. FFF does not facilitate, represent, or administer filings of services for clients. However, we will provide you with legal guidance on how to accomplish all of these ancillary tasks needed to file and present your documents on time.

Can I hire you for just a part of my case?

Yes. Flat Fee Forms works to make the lives of our clients easier, no matter how involved you need us to be. If you only require assistance with a section of your case, we can help. If you want a skilled attorney to guide you through each milestone of your case, we can do that as well. Our job is to support you as best we can as you lay the foundation for a brighter future.
